Cheyenne Christmas Parade

We did much re-organizing around the house this past weekend....it really has become our Thanksgiving weekend tradition. Instead of spring cleaning, we do "Thanksgiving cleaning". We were able to take a break and head out to the Cheyenne Christmas parade. We brought some hot chocolate in a carafe...brought some warm milk for Avery and bundled up nice and good to watch the pretty lights in the parade. Avery had a wonderful time...sorry the pictures did not turn out very well. The weather was perfect...it was 41 degrees but sitting out in that for an hour, it gets pretty chilly. I was ready to head back home for a nice bowl of chili once the parade was over. Funny Avery story...at least we think it's funny...We had mittens on her, so when she would clap in excitement about the parade, she couldn't hear her hands clapping. So.....she would take her mittens off so she could hear the clapping noise! I tried to figure out why she kept taking off the mittens...and then we finally realized what she was doing. And she also started to associate barking to dogs, so whenever she saw a dog in the parade she would bark. Hee Hee The parade was nice....for those of you who have been to the Cheyenne Frontier Days parades...it's pretty much like that except for the lights, Christmas music and a few less horses. :)

Here are a few pictures of us with Avery and Avery watching the parade. The last two are just silly pictures I was taking as she was crawling under our table. Enjoy and we hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!!!
