Weekend Update

So I just tried to upload more pictures from my camera to the computer, but my camera pooped out on me! Anyway...we had quite a relaxing weekend. Friday night Matt and I watched Nolan, Sam and Brian's little one. Such a cutie pie! You better watch out, Evan! Nolan was putting the moves on Avery Friday! Ha Ha

Saturday we did a lot of relaxing then headed to Chili's for a bite to eat. I think I'm already starting to forget what dinner out was like before Avery. She has learned to scream now, not in protest, just for fun. So what did she do the ENTIRE time we were at Chili's???? It's a good thing she's so darn cute!! Hee Hee

Sunday, we did some re-organizing around the house and took a trip to Sam's Club. Sounds exciting huh? Don't even try to keep up with our crazy life! Ha Ha

Monday I took Avery in to get her 4 month shots. Poor little thing. I think it's worse on me then her though. She did so well...only cried for a few minutes. What a trooper! :) She now weighs a mere 16lbs 6 oz. Hee Hee

I think that pretty much covers it for now!

Just for you Jill

As you can see here....Avery is looking at a picture of our friend Jill back home which she sent to Avery for Christmas. It's actually a pretty cool toy...on one side there is a mirror and on the other you can put a picture for baby to look at. See Jill, she really will know your face when we come visit in a few weeks!!

Our Weekend

I forgot to mention last week that Matt and I had our first "date" since having Avery last Sunday!!! That was so exciting and thank you so much to Sam and Brian for watching her while Mommy and Daddy went out alone!!

As for this past weekend, we went down to Flat Irons Mall and shopped til we dropped! Okay, well really it was just me and Matt and Avery just hung out! hahaha There were some really great deals going on so needless to say, I definitely took advantage. And if she doesn't have enough stuffed animals already, we did the Build-A-Bear workshop and made Avery a little bunny rabbit. Too cute!

Then, the most exciting thing happened on Sunday....Avery rolled over for the first time! Woo Hoo! I know to those of you who aren't parents, you're probably thinking I'm completely crazy, but it's the neatest thing to see how they learn new things every day. :)

Oh yea, GO STEELERS!!!!! (I'm sure my Dad will kill me for saying that! haha) I grew up a Browns fan, and to those of you who aren't aware...the Browns and the Steelers are hard core rivals! Of course I had to go and marry a Steelers fan! What was I thinking??? Just kidding Sweet Pea, Love you bunches!!

Mmmmmm

Avery's first taste of solid food! Mmm...Yummy! We actually experimented with the rice cereal last Saturday, so I guess it's not her "first" taste. As you can see, she's really thrilled towards the end of the feeding! She couldn't wait for me to take the time to scoop the cereal and put it to her mouth...little piggy!! She was also so nice and tried to help me out by grabbing the spoon and shoving it in her mouth....so as you can see, she wore more food than swallowed. Hee Hee

Congratulations!!

Congratulations to our friends Greg and Jillian AND Jamie and Lisa!! They got engaged over the holidays! Woo Hoo!! We're so happy for all of you! I'll try to post pictures tomorrow if I can.

OK, I think I've finally found a home! haha Sorry for all the confusion folks! My other blog wasn't as user friendly for others to comment so I've decided to be like all my other friends here and use this blogger.
