Happy New Year!

I hope everyone was able to enjoy the beauty and wonder of the Christmas season and may this new year be prosperous for us all! We are still enjoying my dad's company...but only for a few more days. He leaves on Saturday so I thought I should start posting pictures of his visit now in order to try and stay ahead of the game. I have a ton to post (imagine that) so I will do my best to condense them.

Here are just a few snapshots of Avery and her Grandpa spending some time together.

We headed to Solvang, the usual place we take visitors when they come. It's such a neat little town with many different and unusual shops and restaurants. There are also the cheesy, typical tourist traps, but we enjoy the atmosphere.

Merry Christmas Eve. Avery "hamin' it up" with Grandpa under the tree.

I'm glad you had some good time spent with your dad, Kim. Ahhh, memories in the making. ;)

Avery is just over two years old now, right?

What are you guys doing in May. Adam has a conference near your neck of the woods and Gwen and I might come with. Wouldn't that be fun!
