I apologize for the little "break" I took from blogging! We have just hired a third person at work, which has left me no time to blog! haha You know...since I blog at work and not at home. HMMMM...maybe that's why I'm behind? haha Anyway, much has happened since I last updated. Here are some pics of Avery's playdates with Evan, Tanner and Nolan. How fun!!

Happy Birthday Tammi!!

Sorry I didn't get this up yesterday Tammi! But, Happy Birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!
Since I'm at work...I don't have any pictures...but I'll try to get one up tonight...also I'll try to post more pictures of our weekend. I've been a slacker!

Yeah! No work!

So about a month ago, we had about 10 inches of snow, the roads were horrible and there were blizzard-like conditions. Today, we have a couple inches of snow on the ground, the roads are probably not good but it's suppose to get better by this afternoon. Which day do you think they called off school here???? Well, let me give you a hint, it wasn't when we had 10 inches of snow. My boss called ag 7:00am this morning and told me we had a long weekend! Woo Hoo!!! Although, I'd prefer to have a long weekend when it was nice outside...but that's ok. I'll take what I can get!!!!!!!!!

What a Ham!

We got Avery's 6 mos/Easter pictures taken last Saturday and as usual, Avery hammed it up! haha Although, now that she's getting older she's getting a little uneasy about strangers so in between all the cute poses we caught on film, there were a few bouts of crying. So what do you all think?? Does she still look just like Daddy or is she starting to look like me at all?????????

Goodbye Friends

On Saturday, Keelee had a going away party for Julie and Bryan. I still can't believe the day is here already. :( It's very sad and we will miss them very much. I am so glad to have gotten to know you both and I will never forget your friendship. Hopefully we can meet up again someday.

Look What I Can Do!!!

Woo Hoo! We've reached another milestone!! This morning when I set Avery down to play with her dinosaur toy she decided it was finally time to show me how she can sit all by herself!!! We're still working on staying up but she can stay up all by herself now for a pretty good while. At least until Sammi the dog comes by, gives her kisses and then knocks her over! Ha Ha

Mmm....squash!

Yummy! Squash! We've experimented with peas and now squash and so far so good. I think she likes squash a little better than peas, but really anything thing we put in her mouth she eats. Just like her momma and daddy!! We love food!

Pirates of the Caribbean 2

One really cool thing that happened while we were down in paradise....they were filming Pirates of the Caribbean 2!! Unfortunately, Johnny Depp never made it out to dinner with us, but we got some really neat pictures of the set! Also, for those of you who have seen the first movie, the horshoe rock is where the skeletons of the dead pirates were hanging....look familiar?

One Year Ago...

One year ago, I was just coming home from paradise! I wish I could upload all the pictures of my trip to SVG (St. Vincent and the Grenadines) to my blog, but I'm afraid that would literally take several days!!

Last year I went on a sailing trip with my Dad and some of his friends from back home. I had an absolute blast! I was just about 4 months pregnant with Avery and barely getting over morning sickness. So needless to say it was a very interesting trip! I pretty much ate everything in sight, trying to leave enough rations for everyone else! Ha Ha This was most likely a once in a lifetime opportunity for me and I am so glad I was able to go. Thanks for taking me along Dad! You'll never know how much I appreciate it and how thankful I am that I got to spend that time with you :)

We sailed around St. Vincent and the Grenadines for 10 days in a catamaran. I saw parts of the world that most people will never get to see. I could write and write all day about this trip, but unfortunately I don't have that kind of time! Here are just a few of the pictures we took and believe me, they don't do it justice!

Jump-A-Roo's are fun!

Avery loves to stand and bounce around so we decided to get her a Jump-A-Roo and she absolutely loves it!!!!!! I think if she could eat and sleep in the thing she would.

Where Does Time Go?

I totally stole this idea from my friend Tammi, but I didn't think she'd mind. :) Avery is officially 6 months old (yesterday). I can't believe how fast time has gone!! She had her 6 month check-up today and is doing great! She now weighs 17lbs 7 oz and is 26 in long. What a blessing she is and I can't imagine my life without her.
As you can see, Daddy had to hold her up because she hasn't quite got the "sitting-up" thing down yet, but we're getting there. :)
I'm sure I'll have more pictures later on in the week. We're giving her her first taste of veggies tonight! YUMMY!!

Thanks Girls!!!

Thank you so much to all my girlfriends here in Cheyenne and surrounding areas (AKA Lindsey)!!!! I had such a great time on Sunday and Tammi was right in saying it has been too long. For those of you out-of-towners, my girlfriends took me out for my birthday last Sunday. We had some wine and chit-chatted at Sam's house and then headed to Applebee's for some yummy food!! I am so glad I have met you all and I can't believe we'll be saying goodbye to Julie and Sam. I will miss you both so much and I am so glad to have met you!!!!!!!!!

Nap Time

Our little munchkin is definitely learning how to move around! She started out with her head at one end of the crib for her nap and ended up at the complete opposite end hanging out with her stuffed animal friends. She's crazy!

Avery's First Swimming lesson

Last weekend we took Avery to her first swimming lesson. She had a blast, kicking her little feet in the water. It was such a neat experience and after Matt got done filming a bit of us in the water, he jumped in to join us.

We had a jam packed weekend actually. After swimming lessons on Saturday we decided to head down to FC to get out of town. Matt bought me this WONDERFUL lavender heat wrap for my birthday and I have seriously used it everyday. I love that thing! It was so nice out we just enjoyed walking around Old Town and breathing in the fresh air. Totally different from this weekend since we now have a couple inches of snow! YUCK!

Sunday we were lazy. We took the dog for a much needed trip to the doggy park, did a little shopping and I bought a new purse! Yippee! Then headed to Red Lobster for my birthday dinner. We had a fun weekend!

Playmates

Hopefully no one will come after me about this picture, but I promise it's purely innocent!! Avery adores our dog Sammi so anytime she's near the dog she's constantly reaching out for her. Sammi is constantly licking Avery so the two get along very well, which we are extremely thankful for!!

Play Date

I don't know about you all, but I think Evan may be a little bit jealous that Avery is using all his toys and the poor kid is just sitting on the floor! Ha Ha

Tammi and I watched "Just Like Heaven" with Oscar Winning actress Reese Witherspoon and Mark Ruffalo. Total Chick Flick but I really enjoyed it.
