Random Videos

Now that I've got the "uploading videos" thing figured out, I thought I'd share some more videos we have taken of Avery. Enjoy :)

The first one is of her first time on a swing. We were in CA and decided to take her to the base park. It was crazy windy but she still seemed to have a good time :) (With my big mouth in the background! I hate how I sound!!! UGH!)

The second one is of her first attempts at crawling. Matt was able to get it on film while talking to his parents. Notice how he says "Kim will have this on the blog later, I'm sure!"?? He knows me too well :)

The last one is an attempt to catch her crawling, but she had just started. I guess she didn't feel like performing that day. She's just goofing around! :)

Since I didn't get started until early this year on my blog, I don't think I have posted any newborn pics of our little munchkin. Here's a picture of her sucking her thumb, just hours after entering the world. Just thought I'd share. It's one of my favortie pictures of her. :)

Fun at the Park!

We took a trip to Laramie while my Dad was here. Thought it would be nice to explore some places in WY instead of heading to CO all the time. Turns out, Laramie really isn't the place to be on a Sunday afternoon. Everything was closed!! However, we did buy (and eat!) some really good chocolate and stopped off at Washington Park so Avery could play before heading back home. She loves to swing...and it turns out she also loves to eat grass. Hmmm...who knew? HAHA

We Brush and Brush and Brush our teeth!

Since Avery still only has her two teeth, I decided it was time to introduce her to the toothbrush! She basically just chews on it, but when you take it away, she screams. Oh, wait, that's pretty much ANYTHING you take away from her!! hahahahaha I'm sorry, but this first picture is pretty darn cute, if I do say so myself :) Emjoy!

I think I have finally figured out how to upload faster and easier! Anyway, here are a few cute pics of Avery and Sammi. It's so cute to watch them play now! Trying to Post

OK....so yet again I'm trying to post pictures here and I'm having problems. I love blogger most of the time, but right now I'm about ready to throw my computer out the window!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The time has finally arrived....the moment we have been looking forward to, but also secretly dreading! :) Our little munchkin has started walking!! Lookout everyone!! She's like a steamroller....she'll plow you over if you get in her way! I can't believe she's walking already. OK, so I've been trying for 2 days now to upload new things to the blog and I'm having major problems!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHH!!! Is anyone else? I can obviously post text but I can't upload photos or videos! What's up with that!??!?? K...that's all for now.

Estes Park

We headed down to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park yesterday. We had a great time but it was a LONG day!!

Busy Busy Busy

OK, I know it's been a long time since I posted last!!! Everyone's (meaning Tammi) has been giving me a hard time about it! Hee Hee Love ya Tammi!! :) Matt's Mom and Dad came in to town last Friday and we've been going non stop ever since.

On Saturday we woke up bright and early for the parade to see Tammi and Keelee in their Pioneer outfits. Didn't get a great picture on our camera, but we tried! It was Avery's first parade and she really seemed to enjoy it.

Big Love

So does anyone happen to have the last 4 episodes for Big Love taped??????????? I'm so mad that I missed the last few episodes! Matt left for CA and so I thought I'd just watch them with him On Demand when he got back....of course by the time I thought of this they had already been taken off On Demand! ARGH!!

I know I haven't seen the last few episodes, but I just have to know what those of you who watch the show thought of when Alby went back to that hotel with that guy. What the heck in the world was that all about?????????????????????????????????????????

It's the little things

Since we're still new at this parenting thing, it's amazing what you can learn everyday! Like, apparently, a toy that cost $2.50 is way cooler than one that cost $20. HAHA Go figure! Avery gets a kick out of this purple bouncy ball......and so does the dog! If only they could figure out how to play together. :) Thanks to Tony and Kari for this idea!! They bought a big bouncy ball for Evan's 1st birthday and all the kids seemed to love it....so we stole the idea!

Goofing Around

Just to show you what a silly goofball Avery Grace is...... Hee Hee :) She's is just getting to be sooo much fun! I love playing with her! I'm not quite sure how I keep up with her these days, but you gotta do what ya gotta do. :)

10 months old already!

I can't believe it's already been 10 months since my little angel entered our little family. I guess time just keeps going by faster and faster as you get older and start having kids!! This picture is when Avery was only 2 months old....it's hard to remember that she was ever that little. :)

Happy Birthday Pets!

OK, so we think these 2 are secretly best friends. Sometimes we'll find them laying by one another and snuggling. Most of the time though, Pepper just yells at Sammi for licking his butt! HAHA Hey, you would too, wouldn't you????? :)


Both Sammi and Pepper have birthdays this month. Because they were both strays, we're not sure exactly when their birthdays are but "Happy Birthday!!". Sammi is 3 years old and Pepper is 15 years old. Pepper is getting very old and grumpy, he's diabetic. Yes, I'm a crazy pet owner and spend a lot of money on insulin and syringes to give my little guy shots to make him feel better. :)

Happy Belated Anniversary Jon & Jen!

So Matt's brother, Jon, and his wife, Jen, had their first anniversary on July 1st! Congratulations to one year down and many more to go!! :) We are very sorry we forgot.....can we use the excuse that we have parent brains now and can barely remember our own heads sometimes???? Ha Ha Wish we could see you guys soon!! Love to you both!
