Can I Come Too??

Avery tried to hide in Daddy's suitcase yesterday. He's going on a trip without us...how sad somebody! :( We're going to miss him very much, but the great thing is that we get to visit in a few days, so no worries. Avery will miss her daddy very much and so will I. Unfortunately, this kind of thing comes with the territory, but we're very glad that Matt gets this opportunity. I love you bunches Sweet Pea and can't wait to see you in a few days!!!!!!!!

Finally! I think spring has finally arrived...however I'm sure this town still has one snow left in it. YUCK! Our friends Tim and Tammi had us over yesterday. It was so nice to see Tim (and Tammi and the kids too!). We grilled out and had yummy burgers!! We had a great time hanging out with our friends!

Avery's definitely becoming more mobile these days! It's really neat to see how much she's grown. We just can't believe she's 8 months old already! FYI-she can hold on to the things in the pictures, but she hasn't figured out how to walk while doing it. She still likes Mommy and Daddy's hands for that. :)

The weekend after Easter Matt, Avery and me headed down to Boulder for our friends Heather & Kevin's wedding. It was absolutely gorgeous!! We are so happy for them!

Our friends Sam, Brian and their little boy Nolan left on Monday to head to a different city and start another exciting part of their lives. We had a going away party for them on Saturday at our house and I think a good time was had by all. We didn't get to bed until 2 am!! I think that's the latest I've stayed up in a couple years! hahaha
I think I'm still in denial about the whole situation, so I will be writing more later about Sam and Brian and what their friendship has meant to me and my family. It's very hard to say goodbye to such wonderful people, but I know we will meet up again soon. :) Here are some pics from our evening of fun!

All Avery wants for Christmas is her two front teeth!!! She officially has two teeth on the bottom and thanks to Brian, I was finally able to get a really good picture of them! :) Thanks Brian!!

I apologize for the little "break" I took from blogging! We have just hired a third person at work, which has left me no time to blog! haha You know...since I blog at work and not at home. Since I'm at work...I don't have any pictures...but I'll try to get one up tonight...also I'll try to post more pictures of our weekend. I've been a slacker!

Yeah! No work!

So about a month ago, we had about 10 inches of snow, the roads were horrible and there were blizzard-like conditions. Today, we have a couple inches of snow on the ground, the roads are probably not good but it's suppose to get better by this afternoon. Which day do you think they called off school here???? Well, let me give you a hint, it wasn't when we had 10 inches of snow. My boss called ag 7:00am this morning and told me we had a long weekend! Woo Hoo!!! Although, I'd prefer to have a long weekend when it was nice outside...but that's ok. I'll take what I can get!!!!!!!!!

What a Ham!

We got Avery's 6 mos/Easter pictures taken last Saturday and as usual, Avery hammed it up! haha Although, now that she's getting older she's getting a little uneasy about strangers so in between all the cute poses we caught on film, there were a few bouts of crying. So what do you all think?? Does she still look just like Daddy or is she starting to look like me at all?????????

Goodbye Friends

On Saturday, Keelee had a going away party for Julie and Bryan. I still can't believe the day is here already. :( It's very sad and we will miss them very much. I am so glad to have gotten to know you both and I will never forget your friendship. Hopefully we can meet up again someday.
